Mission San Juan Capistrano Engagement

Mission San Juan Capistrano Engagement with Lindsey and Clayton was a fun and playful experience. Patio gardens painted of lavenders, pinks, and lush greens greeted us as we arrived at the Mission. This historic landmark dates back to 230 years ago. Founded by Spanish Father Lausen in 1775, it was the 7th mission in California. The mission grew as Natives joined the Spanish community up until the earthquake of 1812. The mission is now preserved by a non-profit with the help of the public.

As we admired the history behind our location, Clayton, and Lindsey, our engaged couple gazed lovingly at each. Spanish style architecture surrounded us, and the sun shone above providing g us with beautiful lighting for our Mission San Juan Capistrano engagement photoshoot. The Mission was a perfect place to start our session. The couples’ playfulness combined with their obvious love for one another made for a perfect capture as Clayton and Lindsey circled the patio. Soon it was time to shoot at our next location, we wrapped things up and headed to the waters of beautiful Laguna Beach.
Clayton and Lindsey dressed in matching hues of dark blues complementing each other beautifully. At this point, the sun was mid sky close to sunset and offered a lovely diffused light. As we captured the essence of their love, I learned more about the couple. In fact, they are both movie lovers and are both foodies. Their casual personalities and playfulness continued to come forward in the final captures as we began to wrap things up and head to our last location, The Ritz Carlton.
From Mission San Juan Capistrano to Laguna Beach then finally the Ritz, every location had its unique beauty. From Spanish architecture with a laid-back vibe to the grassy and sandy beaches of Laguna, we couldn’t have picked a better set of locations for this loving, playful and loving couple. Congratulations Clayton and Lindsey, cheers!
