Welcome to an elegant Hummingbird Nest Ranch Wedding of Karen and Joshua in Simi Valley, California. The affection for each other began back in 2008 at UC Berkeley as they both were college students at that time. The couple likes to tell people that they met at the library. However, the truth is that Joshua and Karen met at the college party. Initially, Josh thought that Karen is a cute but weird girl. Karen saw Joshua as nerdy but sweet and kind-hearted. However, after walking Karen home that night and taking her to Costco the other they, this is when their love story began.
Eight years later, after they finished their studies, Karen and Joshua were ready to take their relationship to the next level.
The couple got engaged in France during their vacation in Europe. After having so much stress by losing their luggage in Italy and having to deal with a broken car on a busy street of Genoa, under his sleeves, Josh had a big surprise for his beloved one. When they were enjoying the lush gardens and surreal beauty of Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in the South of France, Josh led Karen to a balcony with a spectacular view of the French Riviera. While Karen was looking over the water, Josh set up his GoPro camera and asked her to turn around. The time stopped, and Joshua dropped on his knee to propose to Karen and presented a gorgeous ring, which Joshua designed with his jeweler friend Neil Dahl.
Not long after the proposal, Karen and Joshua started to plan their Hummingbird Nest Ranch wedding. Hummingbird Nest Ranch venue reminded them of Europe because it has the vibe warmth and luxury. With a picture of perfect lush backgrounds and regal Spanish architecture and decor, this site was an ideal choice for Karen and Joshua’s elegant and romantic wedding. Thank’s to a fantastic event planner Michelle from Aquafuzion events, the couple’s wedding planning process was very smooth and pleasant. It was such a beautiful fairytale love story with green, cream, and accent rose gold colors, surrounded by stunning views of Hummingbird Nest Ranch.
